Re-Establishment of Sigma Nu’s Epsilon Alpha Chapter

Sigma Nu

Dear Brothers,

I am delighted to inform you that the Fraternity has accepted an invitation from the University of Arizona to rejoin the university’s Fraternity and Sorority community by recolonizing our historic Epsilon Alpha Chapter, beginning in the fall of 2019. In only a few months, we will return to Tucson and reignite a proud Sigma Nu tradition over 100 years in the making.

This wonderful news is the culmination of months of discussion between the University, Sigma Nu Fraternity Headquarters, Epsilon Alpha Chapter alumni leaders, and dedicated alumni like you.

Moving forward, Project Manager Tre Nelson (Northwestern State), Alumni Advisory Board Chairman Jason Turetzky, and myself will work closely with the Epsilon Alpha alumni leaders, University of Arizona staff, and student leaders to finalize and execute our recolonization plan. Thanks to the combined efforts of the Headquarters staff and the Office of Sorority & Fraternity Life leadership team, we have already begun much of this work. That said, the success of this project depends heavily on the continued support of alumni like you.

If you have an interest in being involved with the recolonization effort, or simply want to learn more about our plans and upcoming events, please email Jason Turetzky at JTuretzky@rwbaird.com. If you are interested to learn about the recolonization process and our recruitment program, you can contact either myself at evan.winebarger@sigmanu.org or Tre Nelson at tre.nelson@sigmanu.org

I know I speak for the entire Headquarters team when I say that we are excited to begin rebuilding this historic chapter. With your help, I am confident that we will find lasting success at Arizona and continue Sigma Nu’s distinguished legacy for years to come. Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at evan.winebarger@sigmanu.org or call our office at (540) 463-1869.

Respectfully,

Evan Winebarger (Georgia Southern)
Director of Expansion and Recruitment
